No. There will be no on-site registration. All attendees must be pre-registered and confirmed prior to the event. Access to the Ismaili Center, Houston will be restricted to those with pre-registration only.
Attendees based in the United States must register using the email address associated with their IHPA membership, as this is required to verify membership status. International attendees may register using any valid email address.
At this time, the conference is designed for Ismaili Health Professionals. Participation is limited to individuals who meet this criteria.
Registrations are non-transferable. Each registration is tied to the approved attendee and cannot be reassigned.
IHPA registration is required only for attendees based in the United States. If you are not currently an IHPA member, please visit IHPAonline.org to sign up before registering for the conference.

Participants may request to cancel their registration and receive a refund as long as the request is received by email at conference@gihpc.com on or before Friday, March 6, 2026. No refunds will be granted after this date. Refunds are not available for those who register after Friday, March 6, 2026. Note that all cancellations will incur a $150 USD cancellation fee, which helps cover bank charges, payment processing fees, and other conference-related fixed costs. Canceling your conference registration pass does not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Please contact the hotel directly to request cancellation of your room.
All participants, including those who submit abstracts, will register through the standard registration options. When abstract acceptance notifications are released, individuals with accepted abstracts who have not yet registered will be given the opportunity to register at that time.
Yes, the conference is approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. This activity has been planned in accordance with the accreditation requirements of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Baylor College of Medicine and His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for the United States of America.
Yes, CNE will be offered by Texas Children’s Hospital for approved sessions. Texas Children’s Hospital is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Eligible attendees will receive instructions during the conference on how to claim CME or CNE credits. Requirements may include session attendance tracking and completion of evaluation forms.
No. Your registration provides access to all sessions and tracks. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis for each session.
We recommend arriving by Thursday, April 16, 2026, to allow time for check-in and settle in before the conference begins Friday morning.
On-site check-in will begin on Thursday, April 16 at 2:00 PM at The Ismaili Center Houston. We strongly encourage all attendees to arrive on Thursday to collect their lanyards and credentials in advance and avoid delays on the first day of the conference.
Check-in will also be available on Friday, April 17 in the morning; however, wait times may be longer.
Please note that check-in and lanyard collection will only take place at The Ismaili Center Houston. A government-issued ID is required for check-in.

The dress code for the conference is business casual. April in Houston is typically warm, with daytime temperatures in the mid-70s to low-80s °F (around 24–28°C). Lightweight, breathable clothing is recommended. The Ismaili Center is air-conditioned, so you may want to bring a light layer for indoor sessions.
Yes. GIHPC provides official visa invitation letters for registered, fully paid, in-person attendees to support U.S. visa applications.

Please note that GIHPC does not directly intervene with U.S. embassies or consulates. If you are unable to attend and need to cancel your registration, the conference refund policy will apply.
Eligible attendees will receive a separate communication with instructions to RSVP for the evening reception. Space is limited and RSVP is required to attend. Available on a first-come, first-served basis. No additional seats will be made.
Attendance at the evening reception requires advance RSVP and is subject to capacity limitations. A limited number of seats will be available and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.
Walk-ins will not be permitted. We strongly recommend completing your RSVP early to secure your spot. Once capacity is reached, no additional tickets will be made available.
A very limited number of spouse/partner tickets were made available for the evening reception and are currently sold out. These tickets were reserved exclusively for spouses or partners of registered attendees.
